Comments: Nicholas ‘ score is the big upside. He has a nose for the net and has a good shot and uses it a lot from all angles. He can beat the goalie straight up and has the touch and skill to beat them in tight. His skating is okay. Straight line speed is good, can beat defenders when he’s got a step, but lacks the explosiveness to expose well-skating defensemen. Edges, along with mobility and agility, need work. Compete is not consistently where it needs to be, but is getting better. He can add a physical element to the game. He does check a lot of boxes. Skating, speed, puck skills. He can score, and he has good vision.
