Neutral Zone scouts attended all three days of the Shanahan Tournament the weekend of November 5-7, 2021. The tournament was centered in North York, Ontario with games at Scotiabank Pond, Chesswood, and Westwood Arenas.
An excellent tournament with a large contingent of the top U15 (2007) players in Ontario. There were 19 teams divided into 3 divisions that battled to determine a champion. The Toronto Marlboros were crowned the champions. The Marlies, after entering the third period trailing 2-1, defeated York-Simcoe Express in an intense and exciting final score of 3-2.
