New England Prep School Hockey is one of the best school sponsored hockey leagues in North America. It has a long and rich history of producing student athletes who have gone on to play at the NCAA, CHL, NHL and Olympics. The league is similar to the NCAA-model of more practice and less games and challenges players both in the classroom and on the ice.
There are nearly 50 current NHLers who came from the Prep ranks including several noteable players such ass: Matt Beniers (Milton/Seattle), Adam Fantilli (KUA/Columbus), Max Pacioretty (Taft/Toronto), Chris Kreider (Andover/NY Rangers), Noah Hanafin (St. Sebastian’s/Las Vegas) and Jonathan Quick (Avon Old Farms/New York Rangers).
