Theo Jacobsson

Theo is a Swedish center standing at 5’10’’ and 167 pounds. He is a left-shot and played this past season for several teams in Sweden. He played for Modo in the J18 and J20 as well as in the HockeyAllsvenskan. He also played 11 games for Ornskoldsvik HF on loan where he scored nine points in 11 games. He is an athletic play-making forward that gets around the ice well. Plays with pace and has a high motor. He hounds the puck on the forecheck and makes defenders make bad decisions. He has quick feet and a strong first step that let him separate and get up to speed quickly. He plays fast and directly at defenders. Good hands and touch on the puck in tight. Makes smart passes through space to his teammates. Thinks the game quickly and knows where he is going with the puck before it gets to him. Uses his body well to protect the puck and buy himself some extra space and time. He at times plays too fast and will over skate lanes and get himself out of position. Overall, athletic forward that plays hard and competes each time out on the ice.
