Once again, the Annual Mandi Schwartz Memorial Tournament in Wilcox, Saskatchewan attracted a lot of scouts from across North America to see 16 teams of primarily western Canadian girls. Sixteen teams played a gruelling four-day event with each team playing five 60-minute games. Once the round robin was completed, Balmoral Blazers defeated Regina Rebels 6–4 in one semi final while the Calgary Fire handed the Westman Wildcats a 4-0 defeat.
