The Bantam Elite League is held in Minnesota at various locations and runs from Mid-August through Mid-September. Minnesota age requirements are different from other areas of the country, classifying players by their grade, rather than birth year. This is what makes Minnesota teams ineligible for USA Hockey National Tournaments. Players eligible for the Bantam Elite League were born between July 1st, 2001 and December 31st, 2002. Only six teams take part in the league with one team (Blackhawks) consisting of players born between July 1st, 2002-December 31st, 2002
