Tuesday night we caught up with Alberni Valley Bulldogs hosting Cowichan Valley Capitals, an Island Division matchup of the BCHL. Cowichan Valley entered the evening in 3rd place with 49 points (22-26-3-2) , while Alberni Valley sat in 5th place with 41 points (16-27-7-2) and fighting for the playoff lives.
Alberni Valley carried play for most of two periods, but inability to finish and solid goaltending by Cowichan Valley’s Lane Michasiw kept Alberni off the board until late in the second period, when a Jordan Sandhu rebound goal momentarily . . .
