The Minnesota Hockey Bantam season gets underway a little later than the rest of the country. The Battle for the Blue Ox Tournament, hosted by Osseo-Maple Grove, is a staple of the scouting circuit to gauge where teams rank in the early season. Last year, Jackson Kunz (’02 Grand Forks, ND | North Dakota Commit) burst onto the scene and was named Tournament MVP after posting a 4-7-11 line.
