With the WHL Draft starting tomorrow we have dug up the top 115 WHL Draft prospects playing the US this season. While there were less than 30 American players drafted last year, we decided to make it just over 100 because historically the vast majority of WHL eligible prospects in the US stay in the US and go the NCAA route. A team like Portland, for example, has had great success in the past drafting American talent and this past year some of the top prospects in the league were American like Kieffer Bellows, Max Gerlach and Kailer Yamamoto.
