The Battle of the Border showcase event, hosted by the OHL (Windsor Spitfires), and featured Ontario based teams vs US based teams. Six Ontario Minor Midget (U15) teams took on six American teams from Michigan and Illinois. Each team played one game per day at the showcase and teams were able to watch the Spitfires practice as well as play games on the Saturday and Sunday to get the entire OHL experience.
