The International Silver Stick is the most competitive of Minor Midget AAA tournaments we view each season. Teams must apply from across Canada and the US and they must be considered a formidable team to get into the field of 30. There are 6 pools of 5 teams with the 6 division winners and 2 wild card teams moving onto the quarter-finals. Teams in the field are from as far away as Edmonton and Calgary in Canada, and New Jersey and Pittsburgh in the US.
