This past weekend the Syracuse Stars went on the road to play the Rochester Monarchs at the Rochester Ice Center in New York. The Stars won the first game on Saturday 4-2, but were then defeated the next night 3-2. In Sunday’s game Rochester took a 3-goal lead that was too difficult for Syracuse to come back on, despite their best effort with a couple third period power-play goals. Sunday’s top performers from this in-state matchup are listed below.
