St. Thomas Academy hosted Mahtomedi looking to avenge an earlier Metro East Conference loss to the Zephyrs. The game started out tight checking but opened up as the game progressed. St. Thomas Academy skated away to a much needed 3-1 win to pull closer to Mahtomedi in the Conference race. Both teams are very close in points and on the heels of the Hill-Murray Pioneers.
