In 2019 the Northern Alberta Xtreme decided to host the Western Elite Crown tournament at their home rink outside of Edmonton the same weekend as the long heralded John Reid Memorial Tournament. Last year they had a strong field and followed that up this year with another solid invite list where WHL scouts could see teams from all over Western Canada. There were several quality prospects here who will be drafted in the WHL both this year and next year for the underagers so we wrote up reports on the best 175 players in the tournament.
