Prior to joining the Friars, Rule, a Michigan native, was committed to Ohio State. He will have to sit out a transfer year next season and will be eligible as a sophomore in 2021-22.
NZ Scouts on Rule: “The speedy forward is all over the ice. He plays fast and skilled. He hounded pucks and put pressure on the opposing players consistently. Showed good skill and hockey sense throughout the weekend.”

Prior to joining the Ice Wolves in 2017, Bish started his SJHL career with the Melville Millionaires.
’99 F Bud Winter to Saint Mary’s for 2020
Winter is a Missouri native who has spent the last three seasons in the NAHL. This season with the St. Cloud Bizzard, Winter has 9 goals and 19 assists in 47 games. Prior to his junior career, Winter played for Christian Brothers High School and for the St. Louis AAA Blues.
NZ Scouts on Winter: “Big bodied winger, played hard and was great on the walls. Chipped pucks out when needed and made nice centering passes to get puck out of own zone. Moved feet and got in on forecheck hard with a good active stick. Was a force around the net. Didn’t allow defenders to move him from the top of the crease, did a good job taking the goalies eyes away and was quick on rebounds.”
