On November 19, Timmins Rock defeated Rayside-Balfour Canadians 2-1 in a shoot out in NOJHL action. Rayside scored on a penalty kill as Brady Maltais scored on a breakaway beating the goalie over the glove in the first period. Late in the third period Josh Dickson scored on a nice individual effort off of a face off to send the game into a shootout.
