
In a game to open play in the Middlesex League of the MIAA, a rivalry was renewed in the midst of the pandemic with last year’s defending co-champs Arlington Spy Ponders taking on the upstart Woburn Tanners. The storylines for this game were fairly straightforward: Arlington is coming off a title but lost a lot of seniors to graduation while Woburn was a younger team last year and now is looking to make some noise since those players have accrued time at the varsity level.
