Neutral Zone evaluated a game between the Omaha Lancers and Waterloo Black Hawks, which took place on Tuesday, March 9th in Waterloo, Iowa. The first period started off very evenly contested. Both teams played tight in the neutral zone and limited the odd man rush opportunities against. The Black Hawks did a good job of establishing some offensive zone time and looked to put pucks towards the Omaha goalie’s feet. Omaha on the other hand was looking to generate offense more from their forecheck, working hard to create turnovers in the offensive zone and capitalize on quick strike . . .
