2004 (F) Jaden Lipinski signs with the Vancouver Giants
Lipinski played for the Phoenix Jr. Coyotes since 2018, when he moved over from the Anaheim Jr. Ducks. This season he appeared in 17 games for the 16U team and scored 13 goals and added 5 assists.
Lipinski was an uncommitted to an NCAA school
NZ Scouts: “Lipinski is a strong big-bodied forward with good vision and power. He is a little hard on his feet, not allowing him to create much separation and space for himself but can use his body very well to shield off defenders and find open teammates. Jaden was dangerous down low and really used his strength to his advantage, knocking players off pucks and using the reverse check when he had possession.”
2004 (F) Carlin Dezainde signs with Medicine Hat
Dezainde has already joined Medicine Hat’s roster and has appeared in three games. He began the year with the Edge School and had 6 goals and 3 assists in just 5 games. Last season for Edge’s 16U team he had 28 points in 36 games.
NZ Scouts: “When Carlin does move his feet, he plays with good speed, drives hard to the net, and has nice jump to his stride. His problem is sometimes that he can become flat footed and get caught out of position. Carlin is dangerous around the net because of his ability to raise the puck quickly off the net, but he is lacking real power behind his shot to be dangerous at distance.”
2004 (F) Dallyn Peekeekoot signs with the Prince Albert Raiders
Peekeekoot has already made his WHL debut and has four points in four games for the Raiders. Prior to joining the WHL team, Peekeekoot played for the Prince Albert Mintos in the SMAAAHL.
Peekeekoot is a Canwood, Sask. native. He was drafted in the 10th round of the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft.
2004 (G) Max Hildebrand signs with the Prince Albert Raiders
Hildebrand is a 6-foot-1 goalie from Martensville, Sask. Hildebrand began this season with the Saskatoon Contacts U18 AAA team and he had a 1.67 GAA and .944 save percentage in three games.
Last season Hildebrand played 20 games for the Rink Hockey Academy Elite 15’s and he posted a 2.81 GAA and .896 save percentage.
