Following the abbreviated MIAA regular season and conference playoffs, 12 public school coaches put their heads together in order to create the first ever Buzzards Bay Showcase, with games in Watertown and Bourne, MA. The teams played across three divisions of four teams a piece and each division winner moved on to the playoffs with one wild card also moving on to the semifinals. The four teams left standing were Hingham, Waltham, Marshfield and Tewksbury: Hingham and Tewksbury won their semifinal games and the Harbormen ended up sneaking past Tewksbury in the final by a score of 3-2 . . .
