Introduction: Neutral Zone was able to watch this game live on HockeyTV. Powell River jumped out to a 3-0 lead in this one but the Express were able to close the gap and make it 3-2 just over half-way through the second period. That’s as close as the Express would get, however, as the Kings scored two late second period goals and would go on to win this one 6-3 the final.
