Neutral Zone made the trip to Maryland Park, Missouri to watch the USA Hockey Nationals. While Neutral Zone had scouts at every level, this report is focused on the U16 division. Sixteen teams qualified for the event and played 3 round-robin games. The best 8 teams moved on to the single-loss elimination format until a champion was crowned. The North Jersey Avalanche, after losing their first game, won five straight and beat the Colorado Thunderbirds in the Championship. Generally, the play in all of the games was competitive.
