Both teams got started yesterday and are playing their second game in two days. Southwest looked tired at the drop of the puck whereas Eastman looked like they had broken off the rust the day before and were out to a 5-0 just past the halfway point of the first period. The Cougars slowly and steadily clawed their way back and on the strength of 3 power-play goals managed to pull the game to 7-5 late in the third but that was as close as their comeback attempt would come as Eastman managed to hold on . . .
