Neutral Zone watched the match-up (virtually) between SJHL’s Weyburn Red Wings and the Melfort Mustangs. Both teams battled hard throughout the first period and it was a close, tight checking game. The Mustangs scored with 3 seconds left in the first period to take the 2-1 lead and it was all Melfort from there. Weyburn frustration grew throughout the game and they got themselves into penalty trouble that Melfort took advantage of going 4 for 6 on the power play.
