Neutral Zone was in attendance all weekend (Nov.18-21) at the MTS Iceplex in Winnipeg to take in the Winnipeg Jets AAA Classic. Seven teams from the Winnipeg U15 AAA league were involved and joined by two teams from Saskatchewan, one from Alberta and two more from British Columbia.
Day 1 showed that there may be some separation between the top and bottom teams in the tournament as there were no tight games with the closest of opening day’s six games being a 6-3 victory for the Canadian Athletic Club over Vancouver . . .
