Saturday March 5/22 – Eastman Selects vs Winnipeg Wild U17AAA
Game 1 of the league semi-final took place tonight at the MTS Iceplex matching 1st placed Eastman Selects and the 3rd placed Winnipeg Wild. The Wild had to come through the play-in round and looked like the more “playoff ready” team in the 1st period while Eastman shook off some rust. The Wild would score the only goal of the 1st period but Eastman started to find their legs in the 2nd and answered back with three of their own . . .
