We already dropped our MIAA Top 40 D4 Watch List, and now the time has arrived to shift up a level and identify a new set of top players. This was the first year of the new State Tournament format featuring as many as 33 teams vying for State Championships in each Division. This allowed us to gain even deeper reads on this year’s player pool, and in turn, we were able to expand our pool of candidates for the Mr. Hockey Award, given out annually at the conclusion of the Mass HS season.
