This matchup between the South Shore Kings and the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs saw limited defense despite the score as there were a lot of high-quality scoring chances and several odd-man rushes. The score in this one did not reflect the offensive output by either team but for most of the night, the Jr. Monarchs were snake bitten with missed nets and shots off the post. While at the other end of the ice, Jake Fillion stood tall allowing one goal on 30 shots. The final was in favor of the Jr. Monarchs, 2-1.
