A high scoring game that showed special teams was going to be the difference maker. Nanaimo was unable to convert on any of their three power play chances, giving the Surrey Eagles momentum they needed throughout the game. Both teams were able to score goals tonight, it just came down to how one team was going to keep them out more than the other. Surrey took the wild 6-5 win.
