The third major U16 AAA tournament in Ontario this season. 29 teams from across Ontario, New York, and Ohio entered the tournament. Neutral Zone had 3 scouts in attendance this weekend. There were 6 pools of 4-5 teams with only the pool winners and 2 wild card teams making it to the quarterfinals on Saturday evening. The Toronto Marlboros with a balanced scoring attack, sturdy defense, and excellent goaltending went 7-0-0 and won the tournament. The Marlboros were the deepest team in this tournament and they outlasted a short-handed Bishop Kearney Selects and beat them . . .
