Neutral Zone scouted a highly anticipated NAHL East Division matchup on Friday between Maryland Black Bears and Maine Nordiques. We saw a fast paced back and forth game that required extra time. Despite 11 total goals, the goaltending was strong on both sides. Special teams proved to be important as Maine capitalized on three of its six chances on the man advantage. Ultimately the Nordiques found the back of the net in overtime to win 6-5 and snap its losing streak.
