Neutral Zone watched the NOJHL final series between the Timmins Rock and Soo Thunderbirds. The series was well-played and competitive. The Rock ultimately were too much for the Thunderbirds and held on for a 4-2 victory in game 6, to close out the series 4 games to 2. The Rock will advance to the Centennial Cup (Canadian Junior A Championship) and will face the winners of the Maritime Hockey League (Yarmouth Jr. Mariners).
