Neutral Zone was in attendance for a back-to-back, season-opening series between the Wenatchee Wild HA U18s and RHA Kelowna U18 Prep. In the opener for both teams, there was a ton of scoring to start and it continued throughout the game. It was a back-and-forth affair, with very few penalties considering both teams' rust. The home team totalled 39 shots on goal, which led to nine landing in the net, while the away team had 28 shots which resulted in fewer goals, but still managed a strong six through the goalie.
