Here we are hockey fans: it's November and we are a few weeks away from the start of another MIAA hockey season. For 2023-24, teams have begun to settle into a groove as it relates to the updated divisional format and many teams have begun to shift their alignments in order to better position their teams for an opportunity to compete in the playoffs. In a sense, it's the best of both worlds because teams remain in their same conferences, maintaining decades-long rivalries whereas they can freely shift divisions for a better chance of winning . . .
