The Rocky Mountain Classic is one of the preeminent U15AAA/Prep tournaments in Western Canada and invites some of the best U15 (2009 and 2010 birth years) athletes from the USA and Canada to compete for the tournament championship. This year's version of the Rocky was won by Edge School in a 6-3 victory over their local rivals, Calgary NWCAA Flames. Many of the players in this event will be top selections in both the 2024 and 2025 WHL drafts.
