Neutral Zone viewed the NA3HL matchup between the Mason City Toros @ Granite City Lumberjacks on February 24, 2024. Back and Forth contest throughout. Mason City would get the first goal when #9 Dominic Thomas caused a turnover at the blue line and scored on the breakaway shot handed. Granite City would try to tie it late in the first but would go into intermission 1-0. Granite City would build off that late first-period push and come out swinging in the second. An early second-period goal by #4 Sam Brennan would build momentum and soon Mason City . . .
