Bishop’s College Varsity
Zach Jockers #21 (F, R, 5’8″, 155, Bishop’s College Varsity, 08/13/2007) – Zach is a forward with a knack for finding loose pucks around the net and capitalizing on scoring opportunities, as demonstrated when he buried a goal to give his team the lead. While he sometimes turns away from the puck and avoids physicality, he compensates with strong stick work on the defensive side, disrupting plays and effectively transitioning the puck in the opposite direction. Zach’s ability to give chase and create offensive chances is an asset, but improving his foot speed would make him even more impactful at both ends of the ice. Grade: C+
Gabe Revivo #94 (LW, L, 6’1″, 190, Bishop’s College Varsity, 02/03/2007) – Gabriel is a forward who excels at creating offensive opportunities with his strong play below the goal line, including quick and precise feeds through defenders to find teammates. He demonstrates good awareness and effort, often transitioning into the F3 role after dumping pucks in. Gabriel effectively drives wide on defensemen, using his strength to gain valuable ice and protect the puck, which aids in successful zone entries. While his overall mobility is solid, improving his change of direction and working on stops and starts would enhance his ability to react and adapt quickly during play. Grade: C
Kayden Robitaille #12 (LW, L, 5’9″, 157, Bishop’s College Varsity, 01/26/2008) – Kayden is a hard-working forward who excels in faceoff situations, often winning draws through sheer physicality and determination. He demonstrates smart puck movement and solid zone entries, including a well-executed pass to find the open man. However, he had a brief lapse in awareness when he focused on the puck and took a hard hit, highlighting the need for improved situational awareness. Defensively, Kayden needs to work on skating directly at opponents and finishing his checks, as he tends to rely on “drive-bys” rather than delivering full contact. Overall, his work ethic and physicality make him a valuable asset, with room to refine his game further. Grade: B-
Zachary Roussy #20 (D, R, 6’0″, 147, Bishop’s College Varsity, 03/05/2008, Providence) – Zachary is a strong-skating defenseman with excellent vision and a solid all-around game. He effectively covered for teammates and handled a 2-on-1 situation with composure, showcasing his defensive awareness. While his backward skating is slightly awkward and limits his ability to gain speed in retreat, he compensates with smart positioning and anticipation. Offensively, Zachary’s ability to fire accurate passes through tight seams creates fantastic scoring opportunities for his team. He holds the blue line exceptionally well and demonstrates impressive puck-moving skills, absorbing contact while maintaining control and driving play forward. His offensive toolkit includes a rocket of a snap shot, highlighted when he stepped into a chance and just missed the mark, firing the puck over the crossbar. Grade: B+
Dominic Schnarr #88 (F, R, 6’4″, 201, Bishop’s College Varsity, 03/05/2009) – Dominic is a big, strong forward with excellent offensive tools and the ability to dominate when he engages physically. His long strides allow him to generate speed quickly, and he makes accurate, hard passes that help drive offensive play. Dominic’s excellent hands and extended reach make him adept at maneuvering the puck around defenders, and he uses his size effectively to protect the puck, especially when carrying it into the zone. By turning his body and leveraging his reach, he consistently gets closer to the net, creating high-danger scoring chances. A natural offensive threat, Dominic combines a powerful shot with a knack for finding open ice, making him a consistent scoring presence. With more defensive effort and added jump in his game, he could further elevate his impact. Grade: A-
Ulysse Prep
Alexis Boyer #9 (F, R, 6’1″, 160, Ulysse Prep, 01/17/2007) – Alexis is a big, physical forward who plays with strength and determination. He uses his reach effectively, as demonstrated when he poked the puck off a defenseman’s stick, though his skating limited his ability to capitalize on the play. Alexis shows flashes of high-level playmaking ability, such as a fantastic one-touch pass through a defender to set up a linemate for a partial breakaway. While his physicality is a key asset, he occasionally bites too hard on misplays, taking himself out of position. Improving his skating and defensive reads would make him a more consistent and impactful presence on the ice. Grade: B
Marco Campo #5 (F, L, 6’0″, 164, Ulysse Prep, 01/06/2007) – Marco is a forward with fantastic size and explosive acceleration, making him a constant threat on the ice. He displayed excellent defensive awareness by staying on top of his man, executing a quick poke check, and turning it into a shorthanded breakaway opportunity. Marco moves very well with the puck, showing the ability to make quick decisions to avoid contact and maintain possession. While he demonstrates creativity in his playmaking, his decision to pass instead of taking an easy shot resulted in an interception, highlighting an area for improvement in recognizing the best scoring opportunities. With his combination of speed, size, and puck-handling, Marco is a dynamic player with significant offensive upside. Grade: B+
Thomy Di Lauro #17 (D, R, 5’11”, 165, Ulysse Prep, 05/29/2007) – Thomy is a physical defenseman who plays with an edge, delivering big hits and being a force in his own zone. He excels at stepping up along the boards to disrupt zone entries, using his physicality to stop opposing players in their tracks. While his puck movement is solid, and he played a 2-on-1 situation very well to deny a scoring chance, his starting and stopping could use improvement, as quick direction changes sometimes cause him to lose speed. With more consistency in his mobility, Thomy’s defensive presence could become even more impactful. Grade: C+
Cedrick Fortin #21 (F, L, 5’10”, 127, Ulysse Prep, 01/17/2007) – Cedric is a highly skilled forward with great hustle and a strong work ethic, as demonstrated when he made a timely block to force an offside play. He possesses fantastic hands, taking a pass and quickly transitioning to his backhand to score a beautiful goal. Cedric’s quick feet make him difficult to contain when the puck is on his stick, allowing him to navigate through defenders with ease. While he has a lot of potential, he will need to continue developing his size and strength to make a push for the next level. With his skill set and determination, Cedric has a promising future if he continues to grow physically. Grade: B+
Guillaume Legault #22 (F, R, 6’2″, 160, Ulysse Prep, 02/17/2007) – Guillaume is a big forward with a strong hockey IQ, highlighted by his excellent read on a stretch pass that allowed him to intercept the puck. While his size is an asset, his skating could use improvement, as he lacks the top-end speed to consistently capitalize on opportunities, such as reaching loose pucks behind defenders. Guillaume doesn’t have elite hands, but he compensates by playing a smart, physical game, especially along the boards, where he thrives in battles for possession. With improved speed and puck skills, he could become an even more dangerous player in both offensive and defensive situations. Grade: B-
Marc Yankov #12 (F, R, 5’8″, 146, Ulysse Prep, 07/16/2007) – Marc is a highly intelligent forward with a knack for capitalizing on opportunities. He displayed excellent awareness by recognizing a goalie turnover quickly, positioning himself in front of the net, and finishing the play with a goal. Marc’s high-end speed is a standout asset, as demonstrated when he spotted open ice, blew past a defenseman, and executed a slick move to his backhand for a highlight-reel goal. His combination of hockey IQ and explosive speed makes him a dynamic offensive threat and a constant challenge for opposing defenders. Grade: B
