A Bantam AA matchup between the Edina Hornets and the Moorhead Spuds took place as part of the Moose Goheen Tournament in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Moorhead jumped out to a 2-0 lead before a 5-on-3 Edina power-play goal made it 2-1 at the end of the first period. The Spuds then scored three goals in under six minutes to close the second period, extending their lead to 5-1 heading into the final frame. Moorhead went on to win 6 . . .
