In mid-May, many local scouts and talent evaluators descended on New England Sports Center in Marlboro, MA for the Round of 80 and Lovell Arena in Rockland, MA to catch the Final 40 Camp of the Massachusetts region. This Camp would determine who would advance to USA Hockey National Camp in Amherst, NY for the 2010 age group and which additional players would advance to the new Regional Camp in Utica, NY.
We had a scout posted at the Mass Festival's first weekend, evaluating the initial 80 players in contention before the cutdown to 40 . . .
