Neutral Zone had four scouts in attendance every day at the Northtown Center outside of Buffalo, NY, for the USA Hockey Select 16 National Development Camp. The 2009 players came from all over the country, having been selected through regional camps. The goaltenders were the story here, as they all played well and kept games close, which led to quality, detailed hockey games.
