It was an even game featuring four of the top five scorers in the MJHL with Waywayseecapo's Sebastian Hicks and Ben Roulette plus Selkirk's Rohan Guevarra and Wyatt Witham. before Selkirk scored three times in the final six minutes, including an empty netter, to break the game open. Guevarra and Owen Branson each had a goal and assist for the Steelers. Ethan Sawyer stopped 29 of 31 shots for Selkirk to earn the victory.
