
It was a bit of a sleepy start for both sides in this morning contest but was actually the undermanned North Shore club who would get on the board first, unfortunately losing momentum by going zero-for-three on very listless man-advantages during that opening frame. The second period however was their undoing, giving up over thirty shots against & six goals, eventually nine unanswered as well as a mercy pull for the netminder who was left in a tough position.
