JANUARY 3RD 2026 - Neutral Zone scouted Saturday night's AJHL tilt, featuring the Bonnyville Pontiacs hosting the first-place Whitecourt Wolverines. The homeside started #33 Dhami in net for his Bonnyville debut (due to a call-up and an injury impacting their regular netminders). The visitors broke through early thanks to a sharp shot from league-leading scorer #18 Bianchet. They traded goals after that. Victory for the Wolverines was secured with a big effort from Whitecourt's #13 Nienaber. He assisted on the tying goal and swept in a loose puck for the game-winner.
