
Neutral Zone was in attendance for the January 23 BCHL matchup between the Trail Smoke Eaters and the hometown West Kelowna Warriors. The Warriors jumped out to a 2–0 lead after the first period, as the Smoke Eaters appeared flat early. West Kelowna captain Liam Nielsen led the way with a hat trick, while Max Dineen, Dylan Krayer, and Blake Burke added singles to seal a 6–1 final. Brayden Sinclair scored the lone goal for the Smokies.
