
Neutral Zone scouted Powassan's Friday night visit to French River for a NOJHL regular season matchup. The visiting Voodoo's jumped on top of the last-place Rapids with three early goals, chasing out French Rivers' starting goalie. It did not make much difference as the Powassan offense kept up with good puck movement and possession to take a 4-0 lead into the first intermission. Powassan's defense limited the Rapids offense to the perimeter, surrendering very few high danger chances. French Rapids kept up the effort for a while, but as the lead grew their defense . . .
