Neutral Zone NHL’s Brennan Poderzay, February 15, 2022: Holt continued his stellar play on 1/30 in his 4-2 win over Seattle. He once again stopped more than 90% of the shots he faced as he has done for much of the season so far. Holt has been the backbone for this Silvertips team this season, as he gives off a sense of calm confidence that his team feeds off of and trusts. He was impressive with controlling pucks while playing at the top of his crease, not allowing many dangerous second chances. When there were rebounds, his recoveries were very quick and controlled to get to the next shot without a lot of unnecessary movement. The attack against him started to pick up in the third with his team holding a one goal lead, and Holt responded well by reading plays clearly and holding onto pucks for whistles when possible. The two plays that beat him were scrambles in front of the net where he was not able to get sight of the puck. Overall, Holt’s consistency throughout the season in his save percentage have been an instrumental reason for his team’s success, as he will look to continue to rack up more impressive wins down the stretch. Grade: B+

U20: 2022 NHL Draft Eligible Goalie Report, December 8, 2021: Last 5 game snapshot- Holt’s last five games have dictated how the Silvertips results have been. He has struggled in two of the games where he did not see many shots and it led to losses for his team, but otherwise he has put up stellar numbers in the team’s wins. Overall he has had an impressive season so far with a record of 9-1-2 and a GAA of 2.09. Holt is a very technically sound goaltender who finds himself in great positions to make saves. He is able to present himself well to the shooter with big, active hands that build his coverage. He is very mobile around the crease and can make big rebound saves when needed, while also relying on great post integration techniques to seal the posts on plays that generate behind and to the sides of the net. A few areas he needs to improve are his awareness of where potential threats are while plays are developing and his tracking ability, as he has let up some soft goals that are shot from a long distance. Overall, Holt will continue to draw a lot of positive attention to himself if he keeps putting up the solid numbers he has so far this season, as he shows that he can find a way to win games in many different scenarios.

Select 16’s USA Hockey National Camp, July 2019: Holt is a tall, smooth, athletic netminder out of Honeybaked. He is long, he was tough to score against down low and maintained good angling and positioning while under pressure. He stopped 73 of 82 shots and while he struggled with consistency, when he was on he was on. He sees through traffic, he is quick to pop up after going down to make a save and he recovers well to stop rebound and second chance opportunities. The late round WHL pick has solid upside and will play for Little Caesars next season. Grade: B
