WHL: Red Deer Rebels vs Swift Current Broncos, March 2, 2022: Coward was not tested much stopping 16 of 17 shots for a 0.941svp for the night. Often times games like these are difficult for young goaltenders, but tonight we thought he stayed focused throughout.

WHL: Red Deer Rebels vs Winnipeg Ice, February 20, 2022: In his last game, Coward battled out a 3-2 win over Winnipeg making 26 of 28 saves. He is very mobile in the net and does a good job of sealing up the ice, taking away the bottom half of the net. The two goals against were on penalty kills where he did not have much of a chance, but was very impressive the rest of the way to allow his team to comeback from a 0-2 deficit. His stick is very active when it needs to be, as he was able to deflect low shots to the corners and poke pucks away when the opposition had it close to the net. His patience also stood out as a good attribute, as he did not commit to his butterfly too early to make sure he was in ideal position when time allowed. His ability to keep his team in the game and ultimately come out with the win was very impressive, especially against a team as good as Winnipeg has been this year. Grade: A
