He is always around the net in the offensive zone and has a good first step to jump on loose pucks or separate from defenders. Effective with extra time and space on the power play. Is creative and makes cross-ice plays easily to change angles. He is strong on zone entries and handles the puck well in traffic. He sees the ice well and cuts to space to buy extra time and let his teammates get into scoring areas. Skilled forward that creates offense each time on the ice.
SuperElit: Skelleftea U20 vs Lulea U20, September 2020: Stenman was a steady reliable presence in the middle. There was nothing flashy to his game other than there were times when it seemed like he was taking every offensive zone face-off. Skating posture wise he is an inside edge skater which allows him to be ready to jump on loose pucks very quickly.
