Etienne Arseneau (3.75 Star Amateur Rating, NHL Grade — FREE AGENT) Defense
Etienne is a player worth tracking. He is 6’4 (looks bigger) left shot defender who shows good positional awareness in the defensive zone and shows quickness while defending the cycle. He reads line rushes well, uses his reach to shut down cross seam passing lanes and is willing to block shots. He has an above average first touch, makes good decisions in transition and has shown the vision to consistently hit the wide forward in stride during a neutral zone regroup. He has never been a threat put up points, but he has good feet for a big young defenseman. This (2019-20) is his first year in the Quebec League and he is gaining confidence every game.
