U20: Linkoping HC vs Sodertalje SK, September 8, 2021: In the 5-3 loss Havelid gave of 4 goals on 23 shots. The first goal came when a Linkoping defenseman gave an errant pass to a Sodertalje forward in the slot. The second was on a broken play quick 3on1 after a neutral zone turnover that allowed the puck carrier hit a driving forward for a back door open net. The third goal was a result of poor rebound control that resulted in a one-timer from the high slot for the goal and the forth was a tip from the top of the crease. The first two goals Havelid could do nothing about while the second two are exactly what an undersized goaltender can not allow to happen. He has excellent net presence and never gets rattled, but he needs to play perfectly for him to hear his name in 2022.
U18: Team Sweden vs Team Russia at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup, August 6, 2021: In the 7-0 loss Havelid gave up 6 goals on 49 shots (empty net). Incredibly he faced 26 high quality scoring chances with Russia constantly having a net front screen as well as a dot to dot passing option. Although Havelid was under constant pressure his calm demeanor never changed.
U18: Team Sweden vs Team Latvia, May 2, 2021: In the 7-0 Team Sweden win Havelid faced 33 shots. He looked confident, relaxed and did a nice job of controlling his rebounds so there were not a lot of secondary scoring opportunities. Although undersized, Havelid was good at keeping clear sight lines and tracking pucks, especially one-timers while Team Sweden was short handed.
U18: Team Sweden U18 vs Orebro HK U20, August 25, 2020: Havelid gave up 1 goal on 4 shots before being pulled at the end of the first period. Interestingly all 4 shots were one-timers, with one beating him clean low to the glove side while he did not give rebound on the other three attempts.
U16: Team Sweden vs Team Finland, December 13, 2019: Havelid is a young goaltender with quick lateral movement and puck anticipation. On 36 shots faced he gave up 4 goals; 2 coming on point shots through screens / tips, 1 off of a 3v1 that was executed perfectly for a dot to dot one-timer and the 4th coming off a poor bounce off the glass that went right to a man in the crease. He also looked smooth and confident stopping a penalty shot. Havelid did a good job of controlling his rebounds and staying focused while under a seemingly constant barrage of shots and pressure.
